Projectorpoint Opinion
The NEC PA653UL is the first LCD based display type installation grade projector to be filter-free with a sealed optical engine. Until now all LCD based projectors require a filter that needs cleaning or replacing periodically to ensure optimal performance and avoid any operational problems and/or dust settling on the LCD panels. Filter free operation removes the ongoing costs of servicing and replacement filters and also reduces the amount of down time of the projector whilst the maintenance is carried out. Not only is the NEC PA653UL filter-free it is also lamp-free as it features a laser based light source providing up to 20,000 hours maintenance free operation.
The 3rd generation of the extremely popular NEC Professional Application Series, the NEC PA653UL is an installation grade projector featuring a suite of optional motorised interchangeable lenses covering short throw to long throw. All the popular features of one of our best selling installation projectors of 2016 and early 2017 the NEC PA622U have remained. Still present is Vertical and horizontal lens shift but with the added convenience of motorised. The extensive connectivity of the PA622U has been increased on the NEC PA653UL to now included an RJ45 input solely for control and monitor and the addition of a HDBaseT input and a HDBaseT output.
The NEC PA653UL with native Full HD WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels, 16:10 aspect ratio), sealed optics, filter-free design, HDBaseT in/out, motorised optional lenses and a Laser light source ensure it will be one of our most popular laser installation projectors of 2017 and beyond.
