Epson EB-PU2010W

The Epson EB-PU2010W is a dedicated large venue installation projector featuring a bright 10.000 ansi lumens, native widescreen high definition WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels , 16:10 aspect ratio) LCD display for colour accurate images and a laser light source for up to 20,000 hours use under normal operating conditions.

On a recent visit to Epson UK tech lab, we were shown their new in-built processing for PC-free stacking, which means two supported PU series projectors can be stacked to double the brightness, without using external computerware. (To take advantage of this feature the optional Epson ELPEC01 camera unit is required). Advanced control to further simplify and speed up the set up process for geometry control, simple colour calibration, edgeblending and more can be achieved via the use of the free to download software from Epson website, Epson Projector Professional Tool.

In addition the EB-PU2010W features a fleet of optional interchangeable lenses from ultra short to ultra long throw and everything in between. As standard the projector ships without a lens.

The EB-PU2010B accommodates different lenses to suit a wide range of projection environments, including a zero-offset ultra-short-throw lens. Epson supplies the projector as ‘body only’, without a lens, which puts the power to build the right projection solution, for the right application, in the hands of the user.

Designed for installation agility
Produce large-scale, extremely bright displays, even as part of multi-projector installations where edge blending, stacking and lens flexibility is key. Epson Projector Professional Tool makes advanced installation techniques easy, such as projection mapping, while the optional external camera module (ELPEC01) uses built-in processing for PC-free geometry correction for stacking. The EB-PU2010W features NFC for multi-projector set up, making diagnostics and installations easier using the Epson Projector Config Tool. Also includes SDI input and output connectivity.
