The WPD-700 is truly plug and play in a few simple steps :
1. Plug the WPD-700 receiver into your projector or Large format display’s HDMI input and the other end into a power source (either the USB-A port on your Display / Projector that supports power delivery of 5V/1A or use a USB-A UK 3 Pin plug charger)
2. Set your Projector or Large Format Display to the correct HDMI input
3. Plug the WPD-700 transmitter into the USB-C port on your device
4. Content casting will begin
Can you have multiple users sharing content on screen at any one time?
No.
The WPD-700 only supports one user presenting on screen at a time. However the solution does support up to 8 transmitters, simplifying user switching with just one click.
Does the ViewSonic Wireless Casting System Have different display modes when in use?
THe WPD-700 provides the choice of 2 display modes :
– Duplicate : Casting what you see on your mobile device to the Projector or Large Format Display screen
– Extend : Select what you want to see on the projector or large format display screen (Only available for Windows or MacOS)
