Sapphire USB Auto Trigger System – (USB-STR)

Alternative to the SKU- STR for Projectors Without an IEC “Kettle Lead” Connection and a USB Port

The USB-STR provides an alternative solution for projectors that do not have an IEC “kettle lead” power connection.

As long as the projector has a powered USB port, the USB-STR can be connected directly to it. When the projector powers on, the USB port becomes active and the USB-STR automatically triggers the screen to lower. When the projector powers off and the USB port stops supplying power, the USB-STR signals the screen to retract.

The unit is supplied with an RF dongle. If you are using one of our IR electric screens, the dongle plugs into the screen’s end cap, creating an RF receiver that can be triggered by the USB-STR.

If used with a Sapphire Radio Screen, the white USB dongle pairs directly with the control box located halfway down the screen’s power cable.
