The ideal projector for the mobile presenter - ultra light at 1.6kgs, bright at 2500 lumens and it comes with a soft carry case as standard.
Having taken a look at the XW65 in our demo room we have to say the short throw lens and zoom range on a projector of this size is superb ( It outperforms the majority of projectors costing over £100 more too!). From approx 3.5mtrs away from the screen the projector could easily fill our 235cm wide screen - something other brands of projector struggle to do!
Solid and reliable build quality backed by a comprehensive 3 year warranty wrapped up in a chassis that is finished in a minimalist matte white - but then we would expect nothing less from one of the top brands in the projector market.
A nice feature of the Sanyo PLC-XW65 is that it has two VGA terminals allowing two computers to be connected simultaneously and switched between using the supplied remote control. Alternatively one of these can be switched and used as a monitor output terminal.
Compact and lightweight body (264.0 (W) x 55.0 (H) x 188.0 (D) mm and 1.6 kg) offers great portability.
With the compact, light-weight body, the projector provides a brightness of 2,500 lumens. This allows for clear projection even in a small meeting space or conference room.
The Sanyo PLC-XW65 is equipped with a zoom lens that allows screen size adjustment. The short-focus lens allows large screen image projections with a short throw distance. The Sanyo PLC-XW65 can produce a 100- inch screen projection from a distance of 2.7 meters.
'Auto Setup Function' corrects keystone shape distortion by searching for an input signal and detecting the projector's incline, reducing setup time. Furthermore, the 'Screen Guidance Function' allows projector set up according to the displayed guidance. This function provides beginning users an easy guide to projection.
In addition to the black board (green) mode, the PLC-XW65 provides four color (red, blue, green, yellow) board modes, enabling easy projection without using an ordinary screen.
