The Sanyo PLC-XU78 offers 3000 ANSI, XGA resolution, as well as dual data and a single video input.
Having taken a look at the unit in our demo room, it performs amazing well under all lighting environments we subjected it to.
Build quality is what you would expect of a leading projector manufacturer, solid whilst the matte finish gives the projector a sleek look.
The PLC-XU78 is a new cabinet design and utilises a 0.63” LCD panel to develop a throw ratio of 1.75- 2.1:1. In addition to its 1.2x optical zoom, the PLC-XU78 features a 2x to 16x digital zoom that lets you easily enlarge or reduce the screen display size as desired. The Sanyo PLC-XU78 will produce larger images from a shorter projection distance compared to other brands of projector.
With features like immediate power down, PIN code security and weighing only 3.1Kg this projector is ideal for high brightness mobile projection.
If you are looking for something with similar brightness and XGA resolution but more portable and affordable check out the Sanyo PLC-XW65.
The PLC-XU78 provides outstanding brightness of 3,000 lumens, while the PLC-XU78 delivers 3000 lumens of brightness. The 3D Automatic Uniformity Correction Control (AUCC) circuit ensures a uniform projected image, balancing uneven color and brightness gradation for more natural image displays. A progressive scan circuit ensures superb, high-resolution video images. Luminance Transient Improvement (LTI) and Color Transient Improvement (CTI) sharpen the detail.The result is clearer, sharper images from both RGB and video sources.
