World’s first 3LCD touch enabled projector launched

Epson recently debuted its new flagship projector model in the Philippines. The EB595Wi is the world’s first 3LCD touch-enabled interactive projector.

The model is one of six other projectors from the company’s ultra-short throw projector range and is targeting the educational industry – specifically schools, colleges and universities.

The new projector range consist of the non-interactive EB-570, EB-580, EB-575W, EB-585W, and the interactive EB-575Wi, EB-585Wi, and EB-595Wi.

The Epson EB-500 series are designed to enhance user experience and engagement for tutors and students.
Customers can simply navigate a PC on an enlarged screen by using their finger to swipe up and down, zoom in or out or write real-time information – similarly to using a smartphone or tablet device. This makes the range extremely user friendly.

Some of the new projector models also boast colour brightness of up to 33,000 lumens which means the screen will be bright enough in any classroom without having to dim lights.

Furthermore, the range come with the Easy Interactive Tools version 3.0 – Epson’s newest enhanced PC interactive software. This function will provide an intuitive user interface and enhanced interactive features. In addition, the projectors can be controlled directly from the screen, making the need for a remote controller obsolete.
