    Technology brand Acer has announced the world’s first projector with a hidden internal Chromecast wireless dongle support, marking the first of the firm's new 2015 offerings.

    The dedicated adaptor within the Acer H7550ST allows users to connect their Chromecast dongles, enabling simple, fast content sharing as well as the potential to stream audio to Bluetooth speakers.

    ViewSonic has announced the launch of a new home entertainment projector.

    The PJD7822HDL Full HD 3200 lumens device has been given a lower price point so that it appeals to entry-level home entertainment enthusiasts and it features a smooth white finish that blends into any home decor alongside many brightness and connectivity options.

  5. Barco adds new single-chip DLP projector to its lineup

    Barco has announced a new addition to its portfolio of projectors, with the new single-chip DLP projector, called the RLS-W12.

    The new device offers 12,000 lumens of brightness – WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution – as well as extended warping and blending and HDBaseT technology, which will allow it to provide video over a single Cat 5 cable.

    A pair of new compact LED projectors have been launched by ViewSonic.

    The company revealed that the PLED-W600 and PLED-W800 are now available to purchase.

    ViewSonic's latest compact LED-based projectors have features such as an integrated MHL-enabled HDMI input for optional wireless capabilities, which the firm says make them an ideal choice for work, travel and entertainment on-the-go.

  9. Christie to showcase at GTEC 2014

    Christie has confirmed it will be among the companies showing off projector technology at the upcoming Government Technology Exhibition and Conference (GTEC) event in Canada.

  10. Epson reveals new HD home cinema projector

    Epson has announced it will display its latest home cinema projector at an upcoming event in Australia.

    The manufacturer stated that it is planning to showcase the 3LCD projector, the EH-TW6600W, at the Australian Audio & AV Show, which is being held at the InterContinental Melbourne Rialto Hotel from October 17th to 19th.
