BenQ has announced the launch of its new W1500 wireless full-HD (FHD) home entertainment projector which is capable of providing complete source connectivity wirelessly.
As a result of the projector’s support of the Wireless Home Digital Interface, it is simple to install and operate. The device also offers 3D support and full mobile device integration.
The W1500 boasts ‘Colorific’ image quality for accurate, crisp, and long-lasting colour, delivering a range of one billion colours to home cinema users, plus gamers and business users too.
BenQ's ‘SmartEco’ lamp-saving technology means that the cost of running the projector is significantly lower than others in its class – it enables up to 6,000 hours of lamp life – as well as offering a more environmentally friendly mode of operation.
Bob Wudeck, Associate Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at BenQ America Corp, said: “By releasing the world's first wireless FHD projector with 3D support, BenQ is reconfirming its position at the forefront of the home projector marketplace.
“The W1500 brings complete wireless connectivity to all popular home theatre applications, resulting in easier setup, cleaner-looking entertainment spaces, and lower installation costs,” he added.
BenQ's W1500 FHD wireless projector will retail for around £1,490.
