Vivitek has announced the launch of two new large venue laser projectors, the DK8500Z and the DU8190Z.
Both models deliver up to 20,000 hours of operation, with the DK8500Z offering 4K/UHD resolution and 7,500 lumens of brightness and the DU8190Z delivering WUXGA resolution and 10,000 lumens.
Designed specifically for easy installation, the new additions to Vivitek’s large venue line-up come complete with motorised lens shift, as well as the Lens Position Memory function developed to ensure a consistent viewing experience.
Both projectors have also been specifically manufactured to be as adaptable as possible for large venue spaces, with a comprehensive lineup of eight optional lenses that range from 0.38:1 to 5.31-8.26:1 throw ratio.
Edge blending technology, warping features and portrait mode all deliver further flexibility, ensuring these new devices can meet the demands of any setting.
Alongside its new laser projectors, Vivitek has also confirmed the release of a new dual lamp projector designed for large meeting rooms.
The DU6771 was originally showcased at ISE 2017 and features dual-lamp technology and interchangeable lenses.
Additional advanced display technologies have also been included with the aim of producing a bright, high definition image that delivers full colour saturation in even the largest of venues.
Excited about the launch of Vivitek’s latest offerings, Holger Graeff, general manager EMEA, said: “The introduction of the DK8500Z, DU8190Z and DU6771 once again sees Vivitek setting new standards in image quality, performance, quality and value for money.”
He continued: “With a projector to suit every budget and requirement, our new large venue projectors slot in to our ever-expanding portfolio, offering the quality and performance associated with the Vivitek brand.”
