Taiwanese projector manufacturer, Vivitek, has added four brand-new models to its D5 series of projectors.
The manufacturer has launched the D516, D517, D518 and D519, all of which are 3D-ready and capable of providing 3,000 lumens of brightness with contrast ratios of 15,000:1.
The four new projectors all feature Texas Instruments’ DLP and BrilliantColor technologies and have lamps with life spans of as long as 6,000 when in economy mode. The D516 and D517 models have native SVGA resolutions and the D518 and D519 models have XGA resolutions, with display capability up to UXGA.
Holger Graeff, the general manager of Vivitek in Europe, said that the projectors have been designed to be particularly competitive in the European markets.
He said, “These models feature an excellent price/performance ratio and are therefore the perfect companion for those who need a mobile digital projector to display brilliant presentation or to enjoy the latest 3D.”
The projectors each weight around 1.9 kg and come with a complete range of connectivity options, including VGA-in, S-Video, composite video, and RS-232c ports, with HDMI connectivity available on the D518 and D519 models. All of the projectors also have a 2W internal audio speaker.
