ViewSonic launching laser-LED hybrid projectors at ISE
ViewSonic is to unveil its new Laser Hybrid LED projectors at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2012 trade show being held in Amsterdam at the end of this month.
The global consumer electronics manufacturer is using the show as the major platform for its latest offerings, which it claims will be the world’s first full HD 1080p home cinema Laser Hybrid LED projectors.
The company’s latest technologically-advanced models will incorporate a state-of-the-art hybrid light engine, facilitating vivid colour display and performance.
The combination of the LEDs and the laser will result in a colour spectrum that far exceeds that of normal mercury light projectors, and will run as a light source for up to 20,000 hours, allowing for greater cost and energy savings.
The projectors will offer up to 1,200 lumens of brightness, which will work with the pure colour correction and filter, it presents an absolutely authentic level of the three primary colours of light, red, green and blue. This will result in the most clear of images, even in more brightly lit environments.
The instant on-off function eliminates the need for a warm-up when the projectors are switched on or cool-down period once the projectors are finished with, making the user experience even easier. Full analogue and digital connectivity options also allow for the models to be used with other devices with great ease.
The new range will be available to consumers from July 2012.
