ViewSonic launches two new LCD projectors for educational market
ViewSonic has introduced two new LCD projectors designed for classrooms and smaller meeting rooms as part of its new PJL6 series of educational projectors.
The PJL6243 and the PJL6233 have the company’s latest 3LCD display technology and both feature 1024x768 XGA resolution.
The PJL6243 offers 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness and a 2000:1 contrast ratio, while the PJL6233 has 2,600 lumens and a 500:1 contrast ratio. Both models provide up to 6,000 hours of lamp life in economy mode.
They also come with 1x 1W mono speaker and have S-Video, D-Sub, composite, RCA audio as well as Stereo Mini Jack connectors.
The PJL6 series supports up to 1080p HD content with seven default picture modes (standard, real, dynamic, blackboard, colour board - red/blue/yellow/green) for optimal content projection.
Roger Chien, projector product manager for ViewSonic, said, “Projectors with 3LCD True Color Technology deliver the most colour accurate, true-to-life images, making them ideal for bringing lesson plans to life."
“Our PJL6 Series projectors offer a cost-effective, portable solution for classrooms looking to replace their older projectors without having to change the mounting configuration or location, or for those looking for a cart-based solution that can be moved from room to room.”
