A new 3,000 lumen, 1080p, full HD projector has been released by consumer electronic firm ViewSonic. The Pro8300 is intended to make high quality projectors available to more people – offering affordable quality, sharpness and colour to the mass market.
The firm says that the new projector is suitable for a variety of uses, ranging from home cinema use to presentations and teaching. It’s 3,000 lumens of brightness helps to display presentations and images clearly, while its 1.5x optical zoom helps to add extra details to the material being projected.
The projector is reported to enhance audience interaction and presentation quality through its ability to project very detailed images thanks to its high definition and rich connectivity.
The projector is also offering users up to 4,000:1 contrast ratio and it utilises BrilliantColor technology, which helps to produce clear, colour-rich images through its Pixelwork PW980 10-bit processor.
Reviewers claim that although the projector is being aimed at business users, it is more than capable of being used with a home entertainment system.
The product has been available in Europe from the beginning of May.
