Sony has announced it will show off new projector technology at the IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, Germany, this week.
The world's leading technology companies will be heading to the event, which gets underway tomorrow (5 September), as it is one of the most important dates on the industry calendar.
Sony stated that Life Space UX is among the new technology it will be displaying at this year's IFA event. The company described the innovation as "a new concept which utilises space itself to generate experiences".
As part of the Life Space UX display, attendees at this week's IFA showcase will be able to check out Sony's new 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector, which is scheduled to be launched in Europe by summer of 2015.
Life Space UX will see a whole range of products brought to the market by Sony in the near future and the company sees the IFA showcase as a key date in its rollout of the technology.
The IFA event will be the first time Sony has shown off its Life Space UX concept in Europe and the company said it will be displaying products such as its new LED bulb speaker, which the firm describes as "a conventional sized light bulb which contains speakers and connects wirelessly with smartphones to transform the entire home into a musical space".
Earlier in the year, Sony announced the development of a pico projector module that was set to be equipped with the company's independently-developed image processing system. Pico projectors are a rapidly growing section of the projector market due to the portability.
