Technology giant Sony has released updates to 11 of its education and corporate projectors aimed at the European market, including the D-Series, E-Series and S-Series projectors.
Each of the 11 projectors have been updated and improved and now boast video capture abilities, as well as video conferencing and compatibility for wireless use with tablets and smartphones through the Pixelworks’ VueMagic Mobile Presenter application.
Sony’s Interactive Ultra Short Throw S Series projectors now offer new integration capabilities which range from teaching features to auto calibration functionality.
Other features of the new D-Series, E-Series and S-Series projectors include eco-conscious features - including an Auto Brightness Adjustment Function – that help to slash energy consumption and ensure that the projector can work for longer periods of time.
They also boast an auto lamp dimming function, which means that they are able to detect if it has been left turned on with a static signal. The Picture Mute function works to lower power consumption to just 30 per cent.
