A new series of professional 3D-ready projectors has been announced by Sharp, billed as premium tools for the classroom and the boardroom.
The new range – which will include the PG-LX3500 and PG-LX3000 projectors among other models – will be ultra-light and portable offerings, all featuring 3D capabilities and BrilliantColor technology.
The projectors all run on DLP Link technology and provide enhanced picture quality compared to their predecessors. Each projector has a 2,000:1 contrast ratio and is capable of providing 3,500 lumens of brightness. The top models of the range offer WXGA resolution – 720p for home viewing purposes.
The connectivity options on the projectors allow for an array of inputs to be used with the devices, including an HDMI port, two terminals for computer RGB/components, and composite video and stereo audio inputs.
Sharp’s Mike Marusic, said, “The PG-L Series family of projectors represents the latest wave of Sharp innovation, combining state-of-the-art image quality in an ultra-light body that makes these projectors a highly compelling and easy-to-use asset for any presentation.
“With the growing use of multimedia content in both the classroom and the boardroom, Sharp’s new family of 3D-Ready projectors makes it simple to connect with content and easy to engage audiences.”
