Sanyo has unveiled a full HD projector for the professional market which achieves very high brightness levels with just a single lamp.
The PLC-HP7000L offers 7,000 lumens brightness and a native resolution of 1080p (1,920 x 1,080) to ensure projections can be seen clearly even in rooms where there is a large amount of ambient light.
The compact-size LCD projector is fitted with a short throw lens with a 1.6x optical zoom and a 380 watt lamp to display videos and images in a 2.5m area at distances of between 2.5m and 4m. For additional flexibility users can choose from a total of six optional lenses, and a 360 degree vertical lens setting.
The projector can run for up to 10,000 hours without maintenance thanks to an active maintenance filter that holds up to ten air filters and automatically swaps them when its sensor detects restricted air flow.
Other features include powered zoom and focus controls to make setting up a quick and easy process, and corner keystone correction to ensure clear images when the projector is placed at an awkward angle.
The projector can be integrated into a wide range of existing control systems, as it is compatible with both Crestron and AMX systems. For multi-source presentations, both Picture in Picture and Picture By Picture functions are available.
Along with its set of video interfaces, the PLC-HP7000 also provides an HDMI input.
