A new line of portable projectors has been announced by Epson, the main focus of which is versatility.
The MegaPlex MG-850HD and the MegaPlex MG-50 are equipped with high quality, bright projectors, stereo speakers and a built-in dock for iPods, iPhones and iPads.
According to the manufacturer, the devices are easy to use and make it simple to have a big screen viewing experience in almost any situation, even outdoors. The compatibility with the Apple devices will be particularly handy for fans who want to share their images and other media stored on the gadgets. But it is also possible to link up PCS, other smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles and more.
Jason Palmer, product manager at Epson America, commented: “MegaPlex is the ideal big screen projector for the new digital lifestyle. Enabling consumers to share multimedia content from their iPod, iPhone, iPad and a wide assortment of other digital devices, MegaPlex is changing the way movies, gaming, slideshows, presentations, music, and more are viewed by eliminating the confinement of a smaller screen.”
Both of the projectors are powered by 3LCD technology, which delivers rich and vibrant colours. Meanwhile, the MG-850HD offers 720p high-definition resolution and a high brightness level of 2,800 lumens. The MG-50 features 540p resolution and up to 2,200 lumens of colour and white light output.
