Panasonic has released two LCD projectors with added eco features as part of its new PT-FW430 series.

The PT-FW430U and the PT-FX400U come with longer lamp life and new filter technology to reduce maintenance, minimise the impact on the environment and keep down replacement costs.

The new reengineered lamps offer up to 6,000 hours of lamp life and can also be used in Panasonic’s PT-F300, PT-F200 and PT-F100 Series projectors.

The new models, which are primarily aimed at businesses and educational establishments, have been designed to make it easier to replace the lamps when necessary without having to remove the projectors from their ceiling mounts.

As well as offering longer lamp life, the new PT-FW430 projectors are equipped with new eco filters that are built to withstand environments such as dusty classrooms, with a lifespan of up to 12,000 hours.

The PT-FW430U has native WXGA (1,280 x 800) resolution and 3,500 lumens of brightness, while the PT-FX400U offers XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution and 4,000 lumens.

They also have a 2x zoom lens and a horizontal/vertical lens shift feature that allows the user to adjust the projected image without moving the projector.
