Panasonic unveils high-brightness projector range
Panasonic Europe has launched a brand new series of flagship 20,000 lumen 3-chip DLP projectors, due to hit the stores in June this year.
The PT-DZ21K consists of three distinct models that incorporate four new 465W UHM lamps, giving a high level of brightness supported by a 10,000:1 contrast ratio. The PT-DZ21K comes with WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution and 20,000 lumens of brightness, while the PT-DS20K has SXGA+ (1,400 x 1,050) resolution and 20,000 lumens and the more affordable PT-DW17K model comes with WXGA (1,366 x 768) resolution and 16,500 lumens of brightness.
Marketing Manager for Projectors at Panasonic Europe, Hartmut Kulessa, said that the projectors stand out because of the sheer strength of their brightness, comparative to their size.
“The PT-DZ21K is a revolutionary product for the staging and events market. Never before has it been possible to project 20,000 lumens from such a small and light projector,” he said.
“With a competitive price-point, low noise level, simple installation and transportation, this projector is perfect for rental and staging companies who are looking for something compact but with a full set of professional features like geometric adjustment, 3D capability and multi-screen features.”
