Panasonic System Communications Company of North America is showcasing a new line up of projectors, displays and software at the Digital Signage Expo 2014.
During the Las Vegas conference, Panasonic will present a range of projectors and displays designed for a variety of environments, including the PT-RZ670U lamp-free projector. A one-chip DLP projector, it features 6,000 lumens of brightness and was developed for large signage applications as an alternative to flat panel displays.
The PT-RZ670U laser light source projector runs for 20,000 hours without requiring maintenance, reducing the cost of ownership compared to traditional lamp-based projectors. As well as this, it also comes equipped with DIGITAL LINK, a feature that makes it possible to transmit AV content and control signals via a single cable from a distance of up to 328 feet.
Panasonic will also demonstrate their ET-SWA100 software, which is compatible with Panasonic projectors. The software enables customers to monitor compatible devices remotely and receive alerts when a problem occurs or the device requires maintenance. ET-SWA100 is also capable of suggesting a maintenance schedule and monitoring temperature to reduce the likelihood of problems and minimise running costs.
All Panasonic products will remain on display at the company's booth throughout the DSE, and the PT-RZ670U projector will become available for purchase during the second half of 2014.
