Panasonic has launched a new range of projectors that are the smallest and lightest 20,000 lumen projectors ever produced.
The new PT-DZ21K Series has been designed for projection settings that require high brightness, but set the machines in as compact and lightweight encasings as possible.
The range includes the PT-DZ21KU with WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution, the PT-DS20KU with SXGA+ (1,400 x 1,050) resolution and the PT-DW17KU with WXGA (1,366 x 768) resolution, all of which are 3-chip DLP projectors.
All three models boast long lamp replacement cycles of up to 2,000 hours, 3D compatibility and high degrees of installation flexibility, making them ideal solutions for large venue applications such as rental and staging applications that require easy handling.
Scott Wellington, the product marketing manager for projectors at Panasonic Solutions for Business, said that customer feedback had alerted them to the need for such projectors.
He explained, “The introduction of the PT-DZ21K Series 3-Chip DLP projectors, which are nearly 50 per cent smaller than the current industry offerings, is Panasonic’s direct response to helping end-users realise increased ROI without sacrificing product performance and visual experience for their audience in a variety of environments.”
