Panasonic’s innovative short-throw projector ET-DLE030 lens – which has been designed to project large images in tight spaces – is being showcased at a major industry event in Sydney.

The new device is on display at the Integrate Exhibition, which runs from today until 29 August at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre and highlights a range of specialist AV and home cinema equipment.

Panasonic’s product marketing manager, projectors, Chris Maw, told IT Wire: “The new ET-DLE030 lens offers the shortest throw in its class, letting you shorten the projection distance by up to 60 per cent. This lets you project large images in places where you previously could not install a projector – where the ceiling is too high, or where there is not enough front or rear space for projecting.”

The lens can be used for digital signage in retail stores, train stations and in display windows. It is also ideal for use by museum or gallery curators as it can help to create an "immersive" experience by displaying large images onto flat surfaces including walls, floors and ceilings.

The ET-DLE030 lens is capable of fitting onto a range of Panasonic projectors including the PT-DZ870 Series, PT-DZ770 Series and PT-DZ680 Series.
