Panasonic is keeping up with the advances in wireless projection technology with the announcement of two new LCD projectors that are both compatible with the brand's impressive wireless operation capabilities.

The two new models - the PT-FW430 and the PT-FX400 - have both been designed to be perfectly compatible with the optional ET-WM200 Wireless Module. The device allows for wireless projection through Apple's market-leading iPads, iPhones or iPod Touch devices, using the new free Panasonic Wireless Projector for iOS application.

The application allows for images and files that are opened on the touch screens of the devices to be displayed through the projector without the need for a PC, or VGA or USB cables.

The widescreen PT-FW430 has WXGA (1,280 x 800) resolution and is capable of generating 3,500 lumens of brightness. The PT-FX400 offers XGA (1,024 x 768) resolution and 4,000 lumens of brightness.

They both feature Panasonic's dust-resistant 'Eco filter', which removes dust from the cooling air used when operating, and from the LCD panes, which helps reduce image deterioration and sustain impressive image quality.

The PT-FW430 comes with a 2x zoom lens and manual horizontal/vertical adjustment. The app also allows for the zoom on the touch screen to be used to move the projected image in or out. Both projectors will be launched internationally in May 2011.
