Optoma to unveil 'cutting-edge' laser projector
Projector manufacturer Optoma has announced the launch of a brand new, cutting-edge projector, which will be demonstrated at the brand's stand at ISE 2016.

During the exhibition, Optoma's Head of Product Marketing, Justin Halls, has revealed that the company will be showcasing its first 4K UHD projector, which will feature technology currently only on offer through premium format cinema screens and not in the home cinema market.

Commenting on the release, Mr Halls has stated that it marks an innovative leap forward for the brand, which is the first to provide the technology to home cinema enthusiasts. "We are the first DLP projector manufacturer bringing 4K technology to the home consumer market," he added.

Although not demonstrating brand new technology, the 4K UHD projector will be the first of its kind to make this advanced feature available to home cinema owners, using a single chip DLP system to provide the ultimate in clarity and crisp colour to home users.

Optoma's announcement marks the beginning of a revolution in the projector industry, demonstrating that cinema quality features are now beginning to filter down to consumers thanks to advancements in technology.

Alongside the 4K UHD projectors, Optoma will also offer home cinema enthusiasts the chance to see a wide range of new devices designed for home use. Included in the line up will be a brand new lamp-less, ultra short throw interactive projector with an aspect ratio of 2.6:1 that enables two full resolution 4:3 images to be displayed side-by-side for the ultimate home gaming experience.

According to Mr Halls, visitors to the stand will also have the opportunity to experience unique projector demonstrations including ultra-bright lamp-less laser projection based on the company's latest developments in projection technology.

He added: "We will have an advanced gaming solution within our professional installation zone along with innovative retail and next generation signage displays."
