Optoma will launch two new projector models at this year’s ISE conference, due to take place between 7 and 10 February.
The tech manufacturer is set to introduce its first UHD DLP home cinema projector, the 4K500 which uses four million mirrors to deliver precise, sharp images of eight million pixels and at full 4K UHD resolution.
Optoma’s main ISE exhibition stand will also feature the company’s new flagship ProScene model, the ZU850, a dual-colour laser installation projector that forms part of the DuraCore range.
Just like other projectors in this popular series, the ZU850 has been designed for longevity, combining a long-lasting light source and an independent IP rated dust certification. Additionally, this brand-new device delivers WUXGA resolution images, so even large venues can achieve high-quality projections.
Included in the Optoma retail zone is the new ZH400UST ultra short throw projector, four of which will be used to create two large displays with the help of edge blend technology.
These high-definition devices feature 4,000 lumens of brightness, which deliver bright images without being compromised by ambient light.
Also on show at the convention will be the much-anticipated new 1080p gaming projector, the GT1080Darbee, which features DARBEE Visual Presence digital image enhancement technology.
Specifically designed for gaming enthusiasts, this new short throw projector delivers 1080p resolution, 3,000 lumens of brightness and a 25,000:1 contrast ratio.
The GT1080Darbee also offers impressive rec. 709 colour and dual HDMI ports for ease of connectivity. However, the device’s key feature is an in-built Enhanced Gaming Mode, which provides avid gamers with a 16ms response time.
This year’s ISE takes place in Amsterdam. More than 60,000 visitors are expected to enjoy its show floor where they’ll see the latest designs and products from more than 1,000 exhibitors.
