Optoma has displayed its new HD141X projector at the UK's biggest gaming festival.

Over the August bank holiday, the Ricoh Stadium in Coventry was transformed for the Insomnia, which saw technology companies show off their latest innovations.

Around 25,000 people were in attendance at the event and Optoma was among the exhibitors, with the company giving people the chance to see its new HD141X and GT1080 projectors in action.

Optoma's head of product marketing Justin Halls said: "The HD141X is an all-round home entertainment projector, combining high brightness with cinematic picture performance to produce a big bright image in any living space."

It was added by the company that its HD141X projector is the ideal choice for people who want to use a device for watching TV shows, live sports and movies or even playing action-packed games on a massive screen.

The device even has 3,000 lumen brightness, which means it delivers a great picture without the need to dim the lights.

Tom Hindle from retailer Box said: "Using a projector really does improve the experience for gamers as it fills their field of vision to make them feel at the centre of the action."

Optoma recently revealed its latest home entertainment projector, the HD26, which has 3,200-lumen brightness and has been designed by the firm to be another all-round home entertainment projector.
