Optoma has provided 20 of its ProScene projectors for the launch events of the UK’s first 4G mobile service, Everything Everywhere (EE).

The popular projector manufacturer had provided projectors to create displays in key EE retail stores, to transform the shop windows into displays that allow passers-by to interact with the technology.

The Optoma EW865 projectors were selected for the tasks due to their impeccable image quality and top-rate flexibility and reliability. The projectors provide 6,000 lumens of brightness, native WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution, and three different lenses.

Optoma’s head of product management, Justin Halls, said that they were selected for the job by digital signage specialists, Windsor Displays, due to their ability to provide the projectors quickly and with full technical support throughout the displays.

“Our ProScene range of products offer the Pro AV installation professional a full range of projectors to meet most AV requirements,” he said. “Key to the ProScene offering is our ability to provide dedicated technical and sales support that can only be provided by a true projection specialist.”

Each of the projectors was delivered to each shop already pre-configured for the specifications of the display, allowing the installations across the 20 locations to be carried out as quickly as possible.
