The HD6720 is Optoma’s latest high-brightness home entertainment projector and is so bright that its HD-ready capabilities can be viewed without even dimming the lights.

The 2,700 ANSI lumens of brightness the projector provides makes it a high-quality successor to the best-selling HD67N projector. It is also compatible with the Optoma 3D-XL projector adapter for life-size 3D gaming, Sky 3D sports and Blu-ray 3D.

The HD6720 has seven display modes and has Native 720p (HD-ready) resolution that creates sharp and detailed images. It can accept HD sources at 24 frames per second (FPS) – the speed at which most movies are shot – meaning that the films can be viewed in the exact quality that the director intended.

The colour rendition of the projector is perfectly balanced and, due to its 400:1 ANSI Contrast ratio/4000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio, the HD6720 provides incredible light and shade detail.

In terms of inputs, the projector has a full range of analogue and digital options, including HDMI v1.3 allowing for connectivity to the latest digital entertainment devices such as Blu-ray players and gaming consoles to be simple and straightforward.

The projector makes just 28 decibels of noise when switched on, weighs 2.3 kilogrammes and has a 2W speaker.
