Optoma has staged a multiple launch of new projectors as they take advantage of the continuing upswing in demand for the devices.
The top audio-visual manufacturer has added models across the spectrum of types of projector, with the PK201 expanding its range of tiny, pico projectors, the 720p HD67 joining the ranks of its leading home cinema favourites and the EX785 installation projector expanding the industrial end of company's products.
The PK201 measures 61x118x17mm and weighs just 160g. Despite its diminutive size it comes with a range of features, including a Micro SD card slot - up to 32GB compatible - for presentations in PowerPoint, photo slide shows and movies/video clips. It offers an impressive screen size range of 12.7-178cm (5-70in), has a contrast ratio of 2000:1, and a battery life of 1.5 hours. It also comes with VGA and USB inputs.
The HD67 is ideal for home viewing needs, boasting Crestron Roomview compatibility. This custom configurable interface can monitor, manage and control every device in every room remotely via a network. The model also has a native resolution of 1280 x 720, a brightness of 1,800 lumens and contrast ratio of 4,000:1.
The EX785 installation projector comes with XGA resolution, offering brightness of 5,000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 2,000:1. This makes it ideal for public use in bars, halls, auditoriums and conferencing facilities.
