Demands within meeting rooms and classroom are rapidly changing as organisations look to keep up with the latest advancements in technology and the new working practices they have enabled.
Determined to meet these demands, NEC has announced updates to its popular M Series of projectors; a series known for offering great value professional desktop projection solutions. This desktop range has been specifically created for use in professional environments, such as meeting rooms and mobile presentation settings, and provides all the features you might require to connect with your audience.
The M Series has long been considered a top choice for buyers at this price point, but this latest update – which sees the range renamed as the ME Series – has rendered the collection an even more cost effective choice for professional buyers. Although the outgoing models were created using DLP technology, the updated models are now built around advanced LCD technology, providing improved image quality that surpasses that of the series’ peers. Specifically, LCD technology will remove the rainbow effect, ensuring sharp and rich colours no matter what the source.
However, even with all of these advancements, the M Series provides the same shooting angle, same throw ratio and same footprint, ensuring that replacement is as simple as possible for loyal customers.
The 3,000 lumen, XGA (1,024 x 768) native resolution ME301X is set to be a popular projector choice for both education and small business uses, offering a range of essential features without the high price tag. Included in this advanced multimedia device is ECO MODE technology, featuring a carbon savings meter, extended filter life and energy saving tools including quick start. These features help to extend the lamp life to up to 9,000 hours; great for keeping ongoing maintenance down.
Similar to the ME301X, the ME361X projector offers a contrast ratio of 12,000:1, with XGA native resolution and a lamp life of 9,000 hours. However, with a brightness of 3,600 lumens, this advanced device delivers the next level of bright and colourful images. Just like its sister model, the ME361X also offers ECO MODE technology, providing a more green experience that can be adapted to any small business or education environment.
Another step forward for this popular NEC series, the ME331W portable projector provides education and small-to-medium businesses with 3,300 lumens of brightness, WXGA resolution (1,280 x 800) and a contrast ratio of 6,000:1. This device also offers greater install flexibility thanks to a strong 1.3-2.2:1 lens, increasing adaptability for frequently changing professional environments.
Boasting brightness of 4,000 lumens, the ME401X is ideal for more demanding education and business needs, using the series’ essential features to deliver the ultimate in immersive projection. The projector also features native XGA resolution and 9,000 hours of lamp life in ECO MODE, reducing maintenance costs and increasing ROI for any organisation.
The range as a whole has a lot to offer; reliable, high quality pictures with an accessible price point. We’re expecting the updated range to prove popular with businesses and existing NEC projector owners in particular, many of whom will be tempted to install the new ME Series to take advantage of the new LCD technology.
