Projector manufacturer, NEC Display Solutions Europe, is to demonstrate all of its hospital-tailored audio-visual equipment at one of the world’s biggest medical trade shows next month.
The company will have a major presence at Medica 2012, which is regarded by many as the world forum for medicine and is taking place in Düsseldorf from 14 to 17 November.
NEC is taking the opportunity to highlight its extensive medical display solutions range, including its enhanced next-generation series of medical grade displays, greyscale diagnostic displays, high brightness colour diagnostic displays and large format DICOM preset displays.
Christopher Parker, from the Professional Displays division of NEC Europe said that the event would give them a captive audience of the world’s top medical experts.
“There is a growing need among medical professionals for up-to-date digital medical imaging technologies,” he explained. “NEC is ideally placed to meet the needs of the industry by offering a hospital-wide range of visual display solutions from standard office LCD monitors to medically certified diagnosis displays and to large size video walls.”
NEC’s hospital equipment is tailored to suit very particular purposes within medical institutions, with the MD211G3 enhanced 3MP greyscale display, for example, tailored for use in primary diagnostics, while the MD461OR large format LCD display with DICOM imaging is designed specifically for use in hospital operating theatres.
