NEC releases new digital cinema NC1000C
NEC has released a new NC1000C digital cinema projector. The new projector will come with a new, next generation solution which uses the latest NSH lamp technology.

The NC1000C main goal is to sell itself as a space-saving model. In addition, it offers silent operation and simple transportation. Its jewel in the crown is its latest generation Integrated Media Server (IMS). A high-performance server, the projector can store content waiting to be projected while removing the need for additional devices.

The projector also comes with a wide zoom lens with motorised zoom, focus and lens shift. This allows for quick, customised installations. The Hot Lamp Swapping feature that comes with the new NC1000C projector adds to the consistent reliability and ensures continuous projection. What adds to the NC1000C flexibility is that an exhaust system is not required, which make it suitable for either floor or ceiling installation.

The NC1000C, thanks to its colour processing and brightness settings make it perfect for cinema screens as well as universities and museums.

Gerd Kaiser, senior product line manager large venue projectors at NEC Display Solutions Europe, explained: “Lower total cost of ownership, flexibility and efficiency are key requirements for all types of cinemas of today. NEC is meeting these key requirements with the NC1000C, the perfect answer for theatres with small screens or projection booths that need high-quality cinema projection quality.

"Users benefit from a future-proof investment providing both low initial costs as well as low operational costs with enhanced flexibility and efficiency.”
