NEC Display Solutions Europe has announced plans for a ‘personal’ and ‘participative’ display at the NEC Solutions Showcase, taking place in London in May.

The brand has been holding the showcase for five years and it has established a firm spot for itself on the international audio-visual industry calendar. This year, NEC will invite visitors to the event to become participants, delivering hands-on experience with the latest Display Solutions innovations.

NEC’s Simon Jackson said that participants are being invited to field any specific questions or requests – either in advance online or at the event itself at the touchscreen devices located around the display – in order to create an event that has greater relevance to their daily work.

“The NEC Showcase fulfils the need for an integrated display solutions show where the industry market leaders can work together in showing fully integrated solutions to both the channel and end customers,” he explained. “We are focused upon upholding quality, relevance and application excellence, and our aim for 2013 is to provide real depth within each sector and to make the show more experiential.”

The event will this year take place at the famed Tobacco Dock in East London on Thursday, 16 May, allowing the company to make use of the unique features of the venue as an eye-catching backdrop.
