NEC Display Solutions of America has announced the release of two new 4K-ready projector models to its PA Series projector line, the PA672W and PA722X.

Featuring built-in HDBaseT connectivity technology, the new projectors simplify installation for the user by running uncompressed full-HD digital video, audio, Ethernet and power through just one cable.

According to the company, this ease of use is just one reason why these advanced projectors are ideal for corporate and business use, or education applications such as classrooms and museums.

With a brightness level of either 6,700 or 7,200 lumens, the two projectors enjoy up to 4,000 hours of lamp life and also contains a tilt-free feature, so images can be projected on to floors and ceilings without the used of a mirror.

According to Rich McPherson, senior product manager for projectors at NEC, the PA672W and PA722X are capable of providing impressive speeds and detailed images in a huge range of environments, making them highly versatile.

Commenting on the flexibility of their advanced technology, he said: “Multi-display capabilities and TileMatrix technologies are integrated into the projectors, while the HDMI loop capabilities (out of all digital inputs) mean no additional hardware is needed to produce beautiful 4K-resolution images.”
