NEC Display Solutions has added to its successful M-series range of projectors with five new TCO-certified, short-throw projectors.
The five new models - which have been specifically designed to give optimum results in classrooms and small meeting rooms - are capable of throwing images of more than 77 inches in size from a distance of less than 30 inches.
The resulting images have minimal shadows and glare and allow people giving presentations to move around more and interact with their audiences.
The projectors feature impressive energy-saving capabilities, giving them highly efficient operating costs and leaving very small energy footprints. The filter has a cleaning interval of more than 6,000 hours, while the lamp's Auto Eco Mode automatically adapts the luminous power of the lamp to the presentation content.
Among the models, there are both XGA (1024 x 768) and WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution projectors, offering contrast ratios of 2,000:1. They also have an enormous variety of connection options, including two VGA-,one HDMI-input and three USB ports, which are fully network-capable.
They also have a 75 per cent AV Mute function, which allows the picture to be muted at the press of a button, allowing the presenter to fully focus the audience's attention on him/herself for a period, without having to completely shut down the machine.
