Peripherals firm Logitech has unveiled a mouse and projector bundled into one small, rectangular package.

Aimed at busy, on-the-move users, the Logitech Cube goes from a mouse to a projector with a flick of the wrist.

When resting on a table, the device works like a mouse, with scrolling, navigating and clicking functions, but when lifted up, it goes into “projector mode” for displaying slides.

Available in black and white, the Cube boasts a touch-sensitive panel instead of buttons, which makes scrolling through a web page quick and easy.

Clicking the top in projector mode advances through slides, and to go backwards, users roll the Cube over and click.

There is a built-in battery and a micro USB port for recharging. The wireless USB receiver connects to PCs and Macs and can also support up to five other Logitech peripherals without the need for additional USB ports. It also has an HDMI port for connecting to video sources.

Logitech brand manager Todd Walker said, "With its sleek design, the Logitech Cube catches your eye immediately. But it doesn't stop with distinctive design. The Cube has just the right set of features, whether you're working through an international flight or making a critical presentation - all in a beautiful tiny package."
