LG has revealed its latest MiniBeam Bluetooth projector, which the company announced will be released in Europe next month.

The model PW700 has been hailed for its high level of portability and through its new Bluetooth connectivity, it can stream high quality sound wirelessly to any compatible audio system, which includes both headphones and home theatre systems.

In-kyu Lee, senior vice-president and head of the TV division of LG's home entertainment company, described the PW700 as a "personal cinema" that users can carry with them wherever they go.

He added: "Whether you’re watching a streaming movie indoors or a music video on your smartphone outdoors, the LG Bluetooth MiniBeam offers a truly versatile viewing experience."

LG Bluetooth MiniBeam is set to go on display at consumer electronics and home appliances showcase IFA 2014 in Hall 11.2 of Messe Berlin from September 5th to 10th and shortly thereafter it will be available to buy in stores across Europe. LG revealed that a few weeks after that, the PW700 will go on sale in Asia and the Middle East.

The device is just 172 x 117 x 40 mm and weighs 580g and it can produce an image of up to 100 inches despite its small size.

As well as the new LG Bluetooth MiniBeam, the manufacturer has a range of LED devices and business projectors.
