Two high-definition large-scale projectors are the latest additions to Epson's PowerLite Pro G-series installation projector range.
The PowerLite Pro G5450WUNL and G5750WUNL are specifically designed to suit medium to large custom installations, such as those in corporations, higher education auditoriums and places of worship. Sean Gunduz, Epson's product manager for projectors, described the two WUXGA resolution models as "ideal for creative, defence, engineering, and medical industries."
"In addition, these models deliver cutting-edge technology with improved image quality, reliability, and networking advancements that are necessary for high-end installations," he explained.
Both models deliver 1920×1200 native resolution with the 5450 offering in 4,000 lumens of colour and white light output and the 5750 offering 4,500 lumens. They also feature Six-Axis colour adjustment, allowing users to customise colours by adjusting the hue, saturation, and brightness of red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow.
The models also have C2Fine Technology, which provides high contrast for deeper blacks and vivid images. For the reproduction of medial images and x-rays, for example, they also have DICOM Simulation Mode(3) which uses standardised grayscale for optimum quality.
Up to four computers can simultaneously project via the network with a four-way split-screen, while a further 12 computers can be on stand-by for even greater flexibility. They also feature the standard G-Series items including 3LCD, 3-chip technology, closed captioning, simple lamp and air filter replacement, optional wireless, digital connectivity with HDMI and DVI-D and five optional lenses including a rear-projection lens.
