Hitachi launches new iPad compatible projectors

Hitachi has added two new 3LCD projectors to its digital media line that accommodate easy iPad compatibility.

The CP-X3030WN and CP-X2530WN have been designed to display images directly from an iPad via the brand’s Projector Quick connection. The capability allows them to offer the offer superior image quality and connectivity that is required by most of business, educational and commercial applications.

The CP-X3030WN generates 3,200 lumens of brightness, while the CP-X2530WN offers 2,700 lumens. Both of the projectors come with Hitachi’s exclusive Intelligent Eco ImageCare energy-saving technology, which actively controls lamp power between 36 and 100 per cent allowing for users to be mindful of the amount of energy they use.

The projectors both have contrast ratios of 4,000:1 and, as well as the iPad connectivity, have a wide range of connection ports, including HDMI, component, composite and S-video inputs, with RGB inputs and outputs, audio connections, and an RS-232C port for integrated A/V system control.

The new models also offer network compatibility via wired or optional wireless connection (via a USB wireless card) and can be remotely controlled via a local area network (LAN). Hitachi’s PC-Less Presentation function also allowed for images to be projected directly from a USB drive or other USB storage device.
