Hitachi America Ltd. has announced the launch of four new high performance ultra short-throw projectors that have been designed for delivering large images in limited space.

The CP-AX2503, CP-AX3503, CP-AW2503 and CP-AW3003 Ultra Short Throw 3LCD projectors offer users improved image quality and more flexible connectivity options when compared to the company's previous devices.

The CP-AX2503 and CP-AW2503 projectors provide 2,700 colour and white light output using XGA and WXGA resolution, while the CP-AX3503 and CP-AW3003 provide 3,600 lumens with the same resolution.

Each of the projectors also provides a wide range of further features, including Hitachi's High Dynamic Contrast Range technology, which provides users with the ability to alter contrast in ambient light without lowering image quality.

All four models are designed with small spaces and flexibility in mind, and all are created for use on both table tops and ceiling mounts. Each of the projectors also includes a wide range of inputs to complement the short-throw capabilities, including HDMI, HD-15, USB, wireless adaptor video, audio and mic A/V jacks.

Furthermore, the new models are created to enable complete wireless use, allowing users to connect via wireless networks or present images and documents directly from a USB.
