Leading projector maker, SIM2 Multimedia, has launched a global advertising campaign starring five-time Oscar-winning film director Francis Ford Coppola.
The California-based cinema and home-theatre projector specialist developed the campaign with Italian advertising agency, Kamikaze+DTF. It will include multi-platform advertisements as well as new point-of-sale material and brochures.
The launch took place at The Godfather director's 1,650-acre Rubicon Estate in Rutherford California, in front of an invited audience of leading industry members, including dealers, distributors, industry partners, and press.
They were the first to see the campaign's art work, by acclaimed photographer Alan Gelati, which has the concept of being a 'white' campaign in order to be 'green' by using the least amount of ink on printed materials.
SIM2 Mutlimedia's president, Maurizio Cini, said, "We are committed to achieving a sustainable society, continuously striving to reduce the effects on the environment by developing environmentally-compatible products and processes."

Coppola has worked with SIM2 to bring together the specific technology needed by Hollywood producers, resulting in all the SIM2 projectors possessing all the essential frame rates used in production and postproduction.
The launch adds to SIM2's reputation for meeting every industry demand for the latest technology. All projectors and screens are designed and manufactured in Italy, but the company has a direct presence in over 60 countries worldwide, including USA, UK, China and Germany.
