Genius has announced the launch of the Bella Vision BV 180 Projector, part of a range of pocket-size digital projectors.
The Bella Vision BV 180 has been designed to work with devices such as DVD players, notebooks, tablets and smartphones. These capabilities make it ideal for the corporate market and business professionals who need to give high-quality presentations on the move – often at locations where projectors are not provided.
The projector has been designed to provide simple plug and play functionality, meaning users can simply use a micro USB interface or the HDMI import, and don’t need to download drivers or software. The projector also automatically switches between landscape and portrait projection mode as the smartphone or tablet is moved.
The BV 180 can also be used for showing videos and clips, as well as presentations, and the built-in speaker gives clear audio output suitable for groups. The new projector has a 480p resolution and a brightness of 35 lumens, and is capable of projecting a 60-inch image from a distance of two metres.
Power has also been carefully considered. A Genius statement explains: “The rechargeable 1850mAh Li-Polymer battery serves as a power backup for mobile devices – eliminating the need to carry an extra power bank. To charge, simply plug in the pico projector's micro-USB into the mobile device, and then press the charge button.”
