A television game show winner has revealed he dreams of using his winnings to open a pop-up cinema for his local community.

Paul Reaney from West Bridgford recently won £13,000 on BBC1's National Lottery: Break the Safe and said he is considering acquiring equipment such as projectors to make his plan a reality.

Mr Reaney told the Nottingham Post he is still looking into whether it would be feasible to set up a pop-up cinema in the town.

"I absolutely love films, so would love to hire out West Bridgford community centre and hire a cinema standard projector and speakers," he said.

The game show winner added that he is "still trying to cost it all up", but he is sure a pop-up cinema would be a good addition to the town's amenities.

Developments in projector technology in recent years have made it easier and more affordable than ever to set up a cinema, with many enterprising people following a similar plan to Mr Reaney to bring films to their communities.
