First HD short-throw projector launched
The world's first HD short-throw home entertainment projector has been launched by BenQ as a new addition to its Home Entertainment Projector Series.
The W710ST aims to be a benchmark in home cinema projectors and boasts its manufacturer's exclusive aspherical lens technology. This allows It to deliver a 63 inch picture from just one meter away.
Meanwhile, its 2,500 ANSI lumen brightness levels and 10,000:1 ultra-high contrast performance deliver a top quality image. Its dual HDMI interface, DLP LinkTM and NVIDIA 3D Visual dual 3D projector also help improve the experience without the hassle of wiring and setup problems.
Manish Bakshi, general manager of BenQ for the Middle East and Africa, commented on the launch: “Compact and lightweight, it has been designed for avid movie-watchers to enjoy films and videos that are rendered crisp and clear.
“As a new must-have addition to the latest home theatre systems, it is easy to set up with a good range of connectivity options. It is compatible with most devices from a TV, Blu-Ray player to a laptop.”
The gadget is being unveiled at the Gitex Technology Week in Dubai at the Emirate's International Convention and Exhibition Centre this month.
