Epson is not resting on its laurels when it comes to keeping a grip on the home and business projector markets, as it launches two new feature-packed models.
The release of the Epson PowerLite 1220 and the PowerLite 1260 – two projectors that are aimed squarely at the small to medium-sized business sector – is part of the company's effort to cement its position as the number-one selling projector brand in the world.
The two projectors are both variations on the proven PowerLite theme, with the 1260 offering a little more substance than its sister model at a little more cost.
The 1220 features XGA resolution, which becomes widescreen WXGA on the 1260, which also features an aspect ratio of 16:10 in order to full accommodate displays from a widescreen notebook.
Both of the projectors provide 2,600 lumens in colour and white light output, which will allow for very bright presentations with impeccable colour. Both models also bring higher-end features into affordable set-ups, including USB Plug 'n' Play Instant Setup – which immeasurably aids portability.
For the extra sum, in the 1260, you also get an HDMI audio/video connection for delivery of high-definition video content for powerful entertainment possibilities. They both feature the latest 3LCD, 3-chip technology and use Epson’s exclusive E-TORL lamp technology, to give lamp life of up to 5,000 hours in economy mode, helping to maximise presentation time
