Epson's EH-TW8200: the review

Epson’s EH-TW8200 projector is aimed at the ever increasing desire from home cinema enthusiasts to enjoy 3D viewing from the comfort of their own living rooms.

The projector is an enhanced version of Epson’s previous EH TW8100 model and comes with a range of additional features, making it the top of the range model for 2013-2014.

The device features 3LCD technology, which allows it to boost the perceived resolution of the image which can often be blurred by the enlargement processing screen.

As well as coming complete with 7 preset colour modes, all with optimised colour and brightness tailored to suit certain types of viewing or location, users who want to watch a film in a dark room can use the ‘stage’ setting, while users in a bright room should use the ‘natural’ setting.

The projector also comes with key features including Frame interpolation technology, Picture-in Picture and Electric lens shutter.

The EH-TW8200 is capable of projecting anywhere between 30" to 300" and also comes with Lamp Boost Technology, meaning that it can be used to project images and videos clearly even onto a dull background.
