Leading projector manufacturer Epson has been awarded the Learning Magazine's 2014 Teachers' Choice Award for the Classroom for its Epson PowerLite X15 projector.
A widely-recognised annual educational award, the Teachers' Choice Awards honour products with exceptional levels of quality and performance in the classroom and at home. Each nominated product was given an exclusive review by a team of teachers and subsequently judged on quality, instructional value, ease of use and innovation.
The Epson PowerLite X15 projector was amongst over 1,800 products nominated for the 2014 awards and achieved the most nominations within its category in order to win.
Offering educational and home users 3,000 lumens of brightness and XGA resolution, the PowerLite provides advanced connectivity to ensure ease of use. The projector also provides easy set up with Easy-Slide technology, which enables image adjustments with the touch of a finger.
Heather Johnson, product manager for K-12 Education Marketing at Epson, was delighted by the recognition that the award brings for the PowerLite. She said: "One of our main goals in developing Epson education products and technologies is to make the classroom experience a much more engaging and user-friendly environment for teachers and students alike."
She continued: "The recognition from these prestigious education award committees reaffirms that our whole suite of products are helping to do just that."
