Epson has unveiled two new additions to its award-winning line up of home cinema projectors.

The newly designed Home Cinema 2040 and Home Cinema 2045 projectors deliver an enhanced cinema experience thanks to an impressive 35,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2,200 lumens of colour brightness and 3D performance.

Expert features such as Detail Enhancement, frame interpolation and advanced connectivity mean the projectors can be transformed into a smart display for use in a dark room cinema. Through the use of MHL-supported devices, users can stream TV shows, movies and video games in high-definition.

The Home Cinema 2045 boasts an additional feature - it allows users to wirelessly stream content via Miracast and Intel WiDi4, making it perfect for displaying the latest film releases.

Both projectors also offer Bright 3D Drive Technology, which minimises the blackout time of 3D glasses and provides greater brightness of 3D images.

"Epson's new home theatre projectors bring the big-screen home at an accessible price point delivering Full 1080p, colour and white light output, 2D and 3D performance, and installation flexibility," said Jason Palmer, marketing manager, Epson America.

"Equipped with value-add features such as advanced Epson Video processing, built-in colour modes and intuitive image correction, these projectors offer powerful tools that enrich the immersive media projection experience."
